Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. Her mother is English and one-half Spanish. Her parents were Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. She is an Argentinean of Scottish, English and Argentinean descendance. Her mother is Spanish-English. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children. Four were born to Taylor's father's previous marriage. After living with her parents in Buenos Aires for six years The family moved to Victoria. Taylor Joy states that the move to England was very traumatic. She refused to learn English and was hoping to return to Argentina. Hill House became her school that she chose after being ordered to move schools. Later, she enrolled in Queen's Gate School to study ballet as well as perform in the school's productions. At 16, she left school in order to take on acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy's ambition to become an actor began at a young, age.
