Kari Samantha is an American actor, performer and singer (born on April 28 1967). Wuhrer began her career as an teen and is most well known for her roles as Maggie Beckett in the television show Sliders and as Sheriff Samantha Parker in the horror comedy film Eight Legged Freaks.Wuhrer was born in Brookfield, Connecticut, the daughter of Karin (nee Noble), an accountant for payroll, as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer, a police officer and auto salesman. She has been blessed with three brothers. In her teens, she performed at nightclubs by sneaking from the house.
